Karkamış Hydro Electric Dam – Turkey
Karkamış Hydro Electric Dam project was carried out on the Euphrates River in Gaziantep, Turkey, between 2001 and 2003. ETIKE GROUP was involved in major excavation and backfilling works during the construction phase of this large-scale infrastructure project.
The works included extensive earthmoving operations supported by heavy equipment and experienced field operators. Within the scope of the project, more than 2 million cubic meters of soil were handled, contributing to the development of the dam structure and its surrounding engineering works.
This project represents one of the early large-scale civil engineering experiences of FAHRI ETIKE and forms part of the foundation of ETIKE GROUP’s long-term expertise in heavy construction and infrastructure development.
